Thank you for using Visual Audio. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in accordance with Israeli Privacy Law, including Amendment 13 (effective August 2025), and relevant third-party platform policies, including TikTok's Developer Policies.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up or log in, we collect basic information such as your email address, display name, and user ID.

TikTok Login Data

When you sign in with TikTok, we receive the following data from TikTok via TikTok Login Kit: your TikTok Open ID (a unique, anonymized account identifier), display name, and profile avatar. We use this data solely to create and identify your Visual Audio account. We do not post to TikTok, access your TikTok videos or followers, or share your TikTok data with any third party beyond what is strictly required to operate the Visual Audio service.

Project and Collaboration Data

Audio files, project metadata, and shared collaborations are stored in Firebase. Collaborative sharing is protected by Secret IDs stored securely both on our server and the client.

Technical and Usage Data

We collect IP addresses, device information, browser type, and app usage statistics to improve performance and experience.

Third-Party Processing

We use Google Cloud APIs for AI-based audio analysis. All data is encrypted and securely processed.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to provide our DAW tools and services, enable secure collaborations, process payments via PayPal, generate AI audio tags, ensure security using Firebase Security Rules, and comply with legal obligations.

TikTok Integration: We use TikTok's Content Posting API to allow you to publish or upload videos directly to your TikTok account (as drafts or public posts). All data accessed via TikTok scopes is used strictly to facilitate user-initiated actions for content management.

Plan Purchases and Payments

Paid plans are securely processed through PayPal. We do not store payment card details directly. Transaction IDs, plan types, and timestamps may be stored for account and billing purposes.

Data Security

All project and collaboration data is protected using Secret IDs and Firebase Security Rules. Data transmitted to Google Cloud APIs is encrypted. Access to personal data is limited and strictly controlled.

Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined or as required by law. Project and collaboration data is kept for the duration of sharing or plan limits, then deleted unless legal retention is required.

Your Rights

You can access your personal data, request corrections or deletions, withdraw consent, and object to processing. Contact us at visual.audio.projects@gmail.com.

Data Sharing

We share data only with authorized services: Firebase (database, authentication, storage), Google Cloud APIs (AI processing), PayPal (payment processing), TikTok (Login Kit – for users who sign in via TikTok), and authorities as required by law.

Data Breach Notification

In case of a data breach, we notify affected users and the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority as required by law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The latest version is available in the app, and significant changes will be communicated directly.
